Still the most polished proofreader on the market, and the free tier is still the best free writing tool there is. The Premium question has gotten harder: general AI assistants now do much of the rewriting work, leaving Premium's case resting on always-on convenience rather than unique ability.
A genuinely good paraphrasing engine with an identity problem: its most loyal audience wants it for a job — laundering text — that we can't recommend it for, while its legitimate uses are increasingly covered by tools you may already have.
AI where your notes already live is a real convenience — summarise this page, draft in this doc, answer from this workspace. Whether it's worth a separate add-on fee on top of your Notion plan depends entirely on how much of your life is actually in Notion.
